Baltimore Consulting get certified

Posted by: Lauren Cox 30 May 17  | Current Issues

We are pleased to announce that three more of our Consultants have become certified in Safeguarding Children, ensuing that half of our workforce have now accredited by Bristol City Council.

Consultants Ailidh Tullis, James Eddison and Matthew Beasley were enrolled on the course in order to offer them a better understanding of their markets, given that this is the same course that candidates take upon accepting a position within a local authority.

The learning outcomes were focussed on improving the knowledge and skills of staff who have regular contact with children and young people to ensure they know what to look for and what to do in order to keep children safer.

The course itself is designed for those who may need to recognise the signs of abuse or neglect in children and equip them with response techniques to any concerns they may have.

As well as allowing them to understand the importance of putting children first in any decisions about them, they have improved their knowledge on legal frameworks for safeguarding children. This, in turn, puts them in prime position to hire the most suitable and qualified candidates within child safeguarding. This is why 90% of our clients see us as trusted advisors to the Public Sector.
