My client is a Local Authority who are looking for a talented and personable Programme Manager to lead and manage a range of construction projects and programmes including residential and commercial.
The relevant person will engage with Clients and Stakeholders interpreting the clients requirements to define the brief, setting up the project from its inception and carrying it through to completion. Knowledge of design and construction is required in order to manage the work streams and procedures that form part of the role. Site experience is great, but it's the experience of working with clients from the very beginning that you will bring to the role and will add real value to our projects. You will manage resources and multi-disciplinary teams which will in turn deliver high value, complex construction projects, within time, budget and quality requirements. As part of your role you will manage the performance of poor performing contractors and using your strong mediation and conflict resolution skills manage any contract disputes that may arise. You will be solutions focused with excellent problem-solving skills, identifying any issues, before they arise.

Bringing with you experience of successfully project managing projects with a value of over £10m your financial and commercial expertise will allow you to ensure financial reporting, budgets, monitoring and forecasting are completed in a timely manner.
